Phivos-Angelos Kollias is an award-winning interactive composer, sound designer and researcher. He specialises in innovative music technologies applied to Virtual Reality, Video Games and music performances.
His music background is rooted in instrumental classical studies with a PhD in interactive music composition, yet his music taste ranges from electronic music, rock/metal to noise and experimental music. He has studied in Cambridge (BA), London (MA) and Paris (PhD & DEA & MA) and he currently lives and composes in Berlin.
He has received seven awards and nine nominations in international competitions, while he has participated in collaborative projects that have received seven international awards and two distinctions. His works have been presented in more than twenty countries in more than ninety occasions.
